Canceling RxChange Request not linked to patient
You can remove RxChange requests not linked to a patient by reconciling them to an existing chart (if one exists) and managing them there.
To merge the RxChange request to an existing chart:
- Go to inbox/tasks and click on the task for "1 Pending Prescription Change Request(s)"
- This opens the prescription notifications page for you. Here, you will see the RxChange Requests box. Click the + button on the right side to open this list.
- You'll see the patient name column. If you know this is an existing patient of yours with an existing chart, click on the blue patient name to open a new dialog.
- Use Search Patients in this dialog to look up the patient chart for this request.
- Type in the patient in the search dialog to find the existing patient.
- Choose "Select" for the patient without the flag next to their name
- Finish the steps here to link the Change request to the existing chart
