Using Hint Signup to Redirect Patients to Akute Self-Scheduling

Some clinics using the Hint integration prefer a workflow where patients first complete their membership signup or payment in Hint, and are then automatically redirected to Akute to book an appointment.

This can be set up in Hint by adding your Akute self-scheduling link to the Redirect URL field.

Where to Add the Redirect Link in Hint

1. Log in to your Hint account.

2. Go to Admin (gear icon) in the left sidebar.

   Select Online Signup.

   Under the Confirmation Page section, locate the Redirect URL field.

   Paste your Akute self-scheduling URL here.

   • Example: https://yourpractice.akutehealth.com/appointments

When a patient completes the Hint signup form (membership, one-time payment, or intake details), Hint will automatically redirect them to your Akute scheduling page to book their visit.

How the Workflow Looks to the Patient

1. You share your Hint signup link with the patient.
2. The patient completes their membership signup or payment in Hint.
3. After submitting the form, the patient is automatically redirected to your Akute scheduling page.
4. The patient selects their appointment type and books their visit in Akute.

• You can fully customize your Hint signup settings based on your practice preferences.
• Akute does not manage Hint settings, but we support this redirect workflow through the self-scheduling link.
