Creating a Message Template

After creating a cohort, as outlined here, the next step is to set up your message template. This is the message that will be sent to your patients during the automations step, whether via e-mail, SMS, or secure portal message. Think of this as the middle step in the PatientPulse workflow.

Step 2: Create a Message Template

If you don’t already have a message template ready, you’ll need to create one:

1. Go to PatientPulse > Message Templates.

2. Click + Add Template.

3. Write your message:

• Create a Name and Subject line for your template.

• Personalize using placeholders (e.g., {Patient.first_name}).

4. Click Save.

You’ll use this template in the next step.
