Appointment Type Colors
Appointment types can each have their own unique color. Thus allowing you to visually see with a quick glance how many New Patient Visits vs Follow Up Visits you have. No need to click into the event to see the details!
To enable Appointment Type Colors, select the 3 dot icon at the top left when in the Calendar view (not available on mobile). Then a menu will open and from there select "Appointment Type Colors". This setting will save so you don't need to set it again next time you log into Akute.
The status of the appointment is displayed as the vertical bar on the left side of the event block. Just by looking the color of the appointment, you can know the status.
- Blue: Booked
- Yellow: Arrived
- Green: Ready
- Grey: Complete
- Red: No Show
And if you hover your mouse over an appointment, the tooltip displayed will show the status written out, so if you don't remember the status color meaning, the tooltip is there to help!
To set each appointment types' colors, go to Settings->Appointment Types, then click edit on the appointment type. From this screen, there is an option to select a color for that appointment type. Once a color has been selected, click save at the bottom. Now go back to your calendar to see that appointment type color!
