Fax failures

To see the reason for a fax failure, navigate to Reports > Faxes. We surface every error code, so you can hover over "failure" to see the reason for the failed fax (see GIF below).

Because Akute uses an eFax system, the vast majority of failures we see are on the other end, as eFax allows us to mitigate nearly any potential issue. In the example below, the "No fax tone detected" means there was no fax tone from the sending fax machine.
