Recommended Untriaged Incoming Fax Workflow

Akute automatically creates tasks for incoming faxes in your Akute inbox. This helps to ensure a fax is not lost by your team and that your team can manage the workflows all in the inbox tasks, rather than having multiple places to manage triage workflows.

In addition, the actual fax PDF file will be stored in inbox->documents. However, this is meant to be a storage place for the fax rather than conducting workflows from this view.

We recommend utilizing Akute tasks to move faxes to patient charts as all actions done from the task view are also done to the fax file.
