Sending outbound faxes

There are several methods in which you can send faxes from Akute to the recipient of your choice.

The following types of documents can be faxed:

• Notes
• Documents (files)
• Referrals
• Clinical Profile (chart export)

The most flexible method to send out faxes from Akute is to use our referral system. It allows you to includes medication and allergy lists, select specific documents, notes, and problems from the problem list to include, add custom free-text notes, and patient demographics & insurance info.
