Telephone/video visit SMS reminders

Currently, we recommend telephone visits to be scheduled as video visits, so patients don't accidentally show up at the office for a virtual appointment.

However, because Akute is treating it as a video visit, the patient will receive a video link and can be confused when they see a video link but were expecting a phone call.

Akute is working on a long-term plan to address this and will provide updates once it has been made available.

Please note: if your appointment is a video visit, the SMS and Email invite will include the video URL.
