Custom calendar/availability

Edit (4/20/2026): Custom availability with the ability to block/add days/times per specific dates is now available. See the updated guide here.

~~We don't allow custom availabilities per date range at the moment~~, but you can achieve a similar result by utilizing our Google Calendar integration. For example, if you're normally available Monday - Friday and only want to be available Wednesday next week, this is a great workaround.

If your Google Calendar integration is enabled, creating an event in Google Calendar will automatically block your Akute calendar and prevent patients from scheduling during times that have a Google Calendar event.

For example, if Feb 8 is open in your Akute availability but is blocked in Google Calendar, patients won't be able to book for Feb 8.

Pro tip: you can also block off an entire day in your Akute calendar by creating a full-day appointment and selecting "No" for patient appointment.
