Setting up EPCS
There are three steps to set up EPCS (for prescribing controlled substances) through Akute:
- Head to Settings —> Profile to make sure EPCS is toggled on and your DEA number is entered. Make sure to click "Save" at the bottom of the screen!
- Email Akute Support at support@akutehealth.com to request EPCS and confirm the additional $15/month charge.
- Akute will initiate the EPCS process and send you instructions on how to proceed.
