Clinic Wide Medication Favorites

In order to create and edit your clinic favorites, navigate to Settings > Presets. From there, click "Add Medication Favorites." You'll be able to add medications, compounds, and supplies as favorites.

These can all then be prescribed from the e-Prescribe page, and will populate automatically within the clinic-wide favorites list.

A few highlights/notes:

• As the name suggests, these favorites will be seen by everyone across your entire practice.
• Only users with Administrative Staff permissions can edit these favorites.
• You can delete one favorite at a time by clicking the checkbox on the row of the favorite you want to delete, then clicking the trash can icon to delete.
• Favorites will be deleted from your presets in Akute immediately, but will take ~1 business day to be removed from your e-Prescribe workflow. In the interim, the favorite will say "(To be deleted)" in front of the medication name.
• If you're running into trouble finding the item you want to save as a favorite, we'd recommend typing as close to the exact name of the item as possible. For example, instead of typing "Syringe," you can type, "BD Insulin Syringe" to populate options.
