How to invite patients to portal
There are 2 methods to invite patients to the patient portal
Invite patients individually
- Go to a patient chart
- Click the three-dot icon at the top of the summary bar
Click “Invite to Patient Portal.”
Invite patients in bulk
- Go to Settings->Organization
- Scroll down to the Patient Portal section
- Choose if you want to invite all patients or all members (only available to Hint integration customers)
- All active patients are all patients in akute with an active status.
- All active members are all patients with an active or unpaid membership in hint.
- The active members list is a subset of the active patients list
- i.e all members are active patients - but not all active patients are active members - e.g. your one off patients
Signup Process
The patient will then receive an email with instructions to download the portal, as well as how to log in. Please reach out to Akute Support with any questions at support@akutehealth.com.
Portal Status / Reinvite Patients
You can see if a patient has already signed up for a portal by following the process to invite patients individually, then hover your mouse over the "Invite to Patient Portal" button if there is an "i" circle icon. It will look like the screenshot below and show the patient's portal status.
