Fax number requirement

Even if you’re only using Surescripts for e-Prescribing, you will need a fax number. This is a Surescripts requirement, as Surescripts depends on fax as a failsafe mechanism if the electronic network is down.

Akute will provision a fax number for you, however, so it's not something you'll need to worry about if you don't already have one.
